For trades on B3, Seferu works out the month's result, separates day trades from swing trades, carries losses forward and estimates the DARF with its due date. It's an estimate built from your journal, to check against your broker statements or your accountant before paying.
#Where to find it
- In Reports, the Tax card shows the next DARF. Click View details for the full report
- Or ask in the chat: "do I owe a DARF this month?" or "what are my accumulated losses?"
The Tax card shows up once you have closed trades on B3.
#What you see
- Next DARF: the amount, the due date and the code (6015)
- Losses to carry forward, separately for day trades and swing trades
- Withholding to offset: tax withheld by the broker and not used yet
- Monthly table: Day trade, Swing trade, Exempt, Tax due, Withholding, DARF and Due date
#Rules applied
| Rule | How Seferu applies it |
|---|---|
| Day trade | 20% on the month's net gain |
| Swing trade | 15% on the month's net gain |
| Exemption | Stock sales up to R$ 20,000 a month in swing trades are exempt |
| Losses | Carried forward and offset only within the same type (day trade with day trade, swing with swing) |
| Withholding | 1% on day trade gains and 0.005% on swing sales, offset from the tax due |
| Small DARF | Amounts under R$ 10 roll over to the next month |
| Due date | Last business day of the following month |
#What's not included
- Trades outside B3 (US markets, forex, crypto) follow other rules and show separately
- Seferu doesn't file your annual return or generate the DARF slip. Use the amount and code on the Receita Federal website or app
#Keep it accurate
- Make sure every B3 trade is in the journal, with fees. Statements by chat →
- Record DARF payments with Move money → Taxes on the account, so they show in Transactions
Seferu's tax numbers are an estimate, not tax advice. Check them against your broker statements or with an accountant before paying.
