Most losses that hurt don't come from a bad setup. They come from one more trade after the daily stop, or a revenge trade right after a loss. Discipline rules turn your own limits into warnings.
#Set your rules
In Journal, click Set your rules (or Edit rules) and fill in what applies to you:
| Rule | What it does |
|---|---|
| Max trades per day | Overtrading alert after this many trades |
| Max daily loss | Stop for the day once your net loss reaches this amount |
| Max losses in a row | Take a break after this many consecutive losses |
| Cooldown after a loss (minutes) | Revenge trade alert: wait this long after closing a loss |
| Account capital | Used to size positions |
| Risk per trade (%) | Percent of capital you accept to lose on a single trade |
Click Save rules.
#What you see
#Today's discipline
The Journal shows Clear to trade or Stop trading, with today's net P&L, trades used, losing streak and risk per trade.
#Warnings
- "4 of 5 trades used today. Only take A+ setups."
- "Daily loss limit hit. Stop trading for today."
- "You just closed a loss 3 min ago. Wait 12 more min before the next trade."
- "Possible revenge trade: entered 2 min after a loss."
When you log a trade that breaks a rule, the form shows Careful before this trade.
#Suggested size
With capital and risk per trade set, the trade form suggests a position size from the distance to your stop.
#In the chat
On WhatsApp, Telegram or iMessage, Seferu can warn you when you get close to a rule, like two losses in a row. You can also change your rules by message: "set my daily stop to R$ 1,500".
#Good to know
Rules warn you, they don't block orders at your broker. Prop firm limits, like max drawdown and daily loss, are set per account in Settings → Accounts.
